Someone act “ We ’re All in This Together . ”

You’ll hardly need reminding that Zac got his big break starring as Troy Bolton in the hugely successfulHigh School Musicalmovies, which came out in 2006, 2007, and 2008.

While working on theDisneyChannel films and navigating skyrocketing fame, Zac developed special bonds with his costars, but none more so thanVanessa Hudgens, who played his love interest, Gabriella Montez.

Turning their onscreen romance into the real deal, Zac and Vanessa began dating while filming the first movie in 2005 andstayed together until 2010, when theirbreakupmade headlines.

Fast-forward to today and Vanessa is married. In March this year, she revealed that she and her husband, MLB player Cole Tucker, areexpecting their first child together.

A few weeks later, Zac and Vanessa’s formerHigh School MusicalcostarAshley Tisdale, who played Sharpay Evans,announcedthat she was expecting her second child, too, sending fans into a frenzy.

So, with twoHSMbabies on the way, Zac reacted to Ashley and Vanessa’s pregnancies at Thursday’s premiere of his new movie,A Family Affair, when a reporter asked how he expects his former costars to be as mothers.

In response, Zac looked genuinely pleased and said: “Oh, they’re going to be the best moms ever, those girls. Are you kidding me? Oh my gosh. Yeah, we’re going to have some fun family reunions coming up.”

If you can believe it, it’s nearly been 16 years sinceHigh School Musical 3was released, and since then, we’ve not had afull IRL reunionwith all the cast members. Notably, when the OG cast came together to celebrate the10th anniversaryof the first film in 2016, Zac was the only person not to join — instead opting to send a video message to fans.

In March, Ashleyreactedto fans’ excitement that she and Vanessa are pregnant simultaneously, posting on her Instagram story that she thinks it’s “so cool” that they’re experiencing motherhood together.
