Not Ryan Reynolds referring to himself as " Blake ’s married man . "

If you thought you lovedRyan Reynoldsthe absolute maximum amount possible, buckle up — because you’re about to adore him even more. Like, so much, you might actually start blushing.

Basically, millions of people spent the morning of Monday, June 10 sitting at home, watchingThe View(or using it as background noise. Guilty). And if you don’t watch it, basically,The Viewis a talk show where the hosts discuss some of today’s “hot topics” — like politics, entertainment… you get the deal.

And every single one of today’s viewers were likely shocked to see that the biggest Canadian icon ever was in attendance: Ryan. Freaking. Reynolds.

But let me make this clear: Ryan wasn’t, like, ON the show. He was sitting in the audience. With his mother. Just enjoying the show, as one does.

Of course, it’s not every day that a guy like Ryan Reynolds just casually shows up toThe View, soWhoopi Goldbergasked Ryan why he was there. She starts by saying, “This isn’t, like, a thing that happens often…” and asks, “What are you… what… how come?”

In response, Ryan says the most adorable thing ever… but first, he starts by joking that “this is way less stressful than up there.”

Then, he reveals exactly why he went to see the show: “My mom is here visiting her grandkids, and yesterday, she said it’s her dream to go toThe View.”

And when you’re the legend who gave us Ryan Reynolds, literally anything is possible. “I made a call, I told them that, you know, ‘I’m Blake’s husband — I’d love to come toThe View.Does that get us a little farther?’ And here we are.”

He jokes that his mother is capable of “unspeakable violence,” which is why he justhaaaadto take her. But we all know it’s actually because he’s a true Canadian: polite and kind to the core.

His mom explains how she watchesThe View"every day" — so this is kiiiind of a big deal for her. AND THEN. They ask her where she lives, to which she says, “I live in Vancouver, Canada.” And I just know all of Vancouver is celebrating right now from just that one name-drop.

The exchange ends with Alyssa Farah Griffin, another host, smoothly saying to Ryan, “And tell Blake to come on.” Which, obviously, would make my day. Who doesn’t worshipBlake Lively?

Anyway, because the Internet is thankfully as in love with Ryan Reynolds as I am, most of us are in agreement that this is one of the cutest things ever. What other celeb treats their mom with such respect like our king Ryan Reynolds?

Ok Ryan Reynolds taking his mummy to#Theviewis so bloody cute .

TL;DR: Ryan Reynolds is still hilarious, and an amazing son. Big shoutout to his mom. I’ll keep my eyes peeled on my TV next time, just in case Ryan and his mom show up in the audience of another talkshow.
