Now that ’s talent recognizing talent .

It’s simply only a matter of time until we get aRihannabiopic, right?

Obviously, it’s way too soon to even begin working on a possible film. Still, the music and makeup mogul has achieved so much in her careeralreadythat she’s more than earned the career retrospective film treatment.

Well,Rihannawas recently asked on the red carpet who she’d cast to play her in a film, and her answer was simply perfect.

E! Newsasked the singer at a Fenty Hair event earlier this week, and Rihanna appeared to be thinking hard before choosing…

Taylor Russell!

Taylor is a great choice. She’s proven her acting chops through films likeWavesandBones and Alland the TV seriesLost in Space.

She’ll reportedly star alongsideMichael Fassbender,Alicia Vikander, and Hoyeon in theupcoming filmHope.

Still, Rihanna had personal reasons for picking Taylor.

“You know why? ‘Cause she got like a nice forehead. She’s fly,” the singer said.

“I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me. I want people to see me in that light,” she continued.

It seems like perfect casting, but here’s hoping Rihanna’s biopic doesn’t get off the groundat leastuntil after her long-awaited ninth album comes to fruition.
