Everything from ghost stories to prosperous wedlock Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree , we want to hear about it !

The other day, my friend told me that in her hometown, there was an old, curvy road that nobody wanted to drive on after dark because there was a supposed “goatman” who would jump out in front of your car and make you crash.

Obviously, I was obsessed. And now, I want to hear all about your equivalents of the “goatman” — so what are your unique hometown legends and stories that you want to share with the world?

For example, maybe your town was said to have a phantom train running through it…

Or a lucky tree under which couples fell in love…

Maybe your town is home to some great, classicghost stories…

Or maybe it’s not a ghost at all, but a real secret that somehow everybody knows…

Whatever your hometown’s local lore may be, we want to hear about it. Whether it’s dark, romantic, or just downright funny, whether there’s proof or sightings, or whether it continues to survive solely through hearsay, no legend or secret is off-limits!
