Marriage is one of the most significant decisions someone can make in their life. And even if you have a loving, healthy relationship, it can come with challenges. So, men, if you are married or have ever been married, we want to hear your perspective.

So, men, what are the hardest parts of marriage that no one talks about?

Maybe you absolutely love your spouse and family, but you’ve felt overwhelmed by the number of responsibilities you have — such as kids, finances, etc. — and even though you love your life, it’s actually hard not to have any time for yourself.

Perhaps you realize you’re very hard on yourself and often feel pressure to be a “perfect” spouse, and you’ve never had the chance to talk openly about it.

Or maybe marriage has challenged you to be open and vulnerable in a way that you previously hadn’t been — and it’s required a lot of self-reflection and therapy to work through personal issues that kept coming up.

Or perhaps you’ve had moments in your marriage where you felt like you made a mistake marrying your partner, and you NEVER expected to have any doubts about that decision.

A man and a young boy with a yellow backpack walk hand-in-hand on a paved path. The boy wears a striped shirt. Their faces are not visible

A man with gray hair and a beard wearing glasses is sitting at a desk with his hand on his head, looking stressed while reading a document, with a laptop nearby

I don’t know who this is. A person with curly hair and a light shirt sits on a couch in a cozy room, looking off to the side
