Meagan Goodaddressed the viral video that showed herThink Like a Mancostar,Michael Ealy, seemingly ignoring her boyfriend,Jonathan Majors.
If you missed it, the moment happened last week at the PowerPlayers Mix & Mingleeventin LA. Inthe footage, Michael excitedly came up to greet Meagan, hugging and picking her up, while seemingly ignoring Jonathan.
He then greeted rapper D Smoke and his wife, singer and violinist Sherie, who were standing nearby, before they posed for a group pic. During the shot, Michael stood away from the embattled actor and never appeared to look in his direction.
Online, people speculated that Michael had intentionally ignored Jonathan due to theabuse allegationsagainst him. (Jonathan hasdeniedthe claims, though he was found guilty last year of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.)

Eventually, the conversation reached Meagan herself, who claimed the video had beeneditedto remove an earlier part where Michael had apparently had a friendly interaction with Jonathan.
“So we’re just gonna edit out the first part of the video where Jonathan and Michael exchange a big hug first and then speak life over each other - ‘before’ he gives me a big brother hug?” she commented under The Shade Room’s repost of the video.
“Lol smh super unfortunate how people don’t have anything better to do than project on others and intentionally perpetuate negative misguided commentary on life snippets they have no real context to.”
“It’s sad,” she continued. “Sigh. But still, God bless yall.”
Meagan also previously found herselfdefending her relationshipwith Jonathan after friends “advised” her not to date him amid his legal woes.
She recently toldTodaythat “every friend” actually advised her against it.
“But at the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit when I trust God,” she shared, “and when I move to the beat of my own drum, I can always look and say, ‘I’m proud of that.'”
“No matter whatever happens, I have peace in my heart, and I have harmony in my heart,” she continued.
Meagan also said that while she will take other people’s input into “account,” “At the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life, and who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and so I wanna be responsible for the choices that I make.” But at the same time, “I also wanna live the life that I wanna live.”
