Everyone needs a best ally like Alexis Ren .
The mind-bending thriller sci-fi filmLatencycomes to select theaters June 14, and you might recognize some familiar faces in the (frankly, quite terrifying)trailer.
That’s because the film follows Hana, a pro-gamer played by Sasha Luss, and her BFF Jen, played by Alexis Ren.
Here’s what we know about the film so far: Hana is testing out a new state-of-the-art gaming device, and Jen, a truly good friend, is supporting her as things start to get super, mind-bendingly weird.
Of course, you probably remember Sasha Luss from the 2019 action-thriller,Anna.
Before she skyrocketed to fame from that role, Sasha, who was born in Russia, already had an established career as a fashion model.
You also might have seen her inSheroes, the super-fun action thriller comedy that came out last year.
What about Alexis Ren? If you haven’t seen her onTikTokor leading ab workouts onYouTubeare you even online?
Alexis also started her career as a model, and in 2022 she made her feature film debut in the noir thrillerThe Enforcer.

We’re loving Alexis and Sasha as gamer besties inLatency. But every friendship has a dark side and this is obviously a thriller movie, so let’s see if they’re still dancing by the end of it.
