Y’all, we are entering a beautiful time in movies. There are so many incredible theatrical releases on the horizon, and I’m so excited to run to my local theater, grab some popcorn, and just enjoy a great movie. And one of the films I am most excited for this fall isGladiator II.
The film takes place two decades after the events ofGladiator(2000) and follows Lucius (Paul Mescal), the son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen), who is suddenly brought back to Rome as a gladiator after growing up outside the reach of the Roman Empire. Now, Lucius makes new enemies and seeks revenge.
And today, we finally got our first full-length trailer forGladiator II, and it’s truly all I can think about. In a word, the film looks stunning.
