On Thursday, Channing appeared onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonto promote his new movieFly Me to the Moon, a NASA-basedrom-comwithScarlett Johansson.
But Channing’s also starring inBlink Twice, which was initially titledPussy Island, a movie written and directed by his fiancée, Zoë.
Blink Twiceis actually how the cosmically beautiful couple linked up. “She brought me a script, and it was definitely something no one has ever thought of me for, and I really was like, ‘Wow, why do you want me for this?'” Channing said onThe Tonight Show. “It was a long journey. She’s been writing it for, like, five, six years now.”
Channing and Zoë have been together since back in 2021, and became engaged in October 2023. However, the first meet-cute didn’t initially seal the deal.
But the best part of the interview was when Channing revealed how obsessed he was with working with his fiancée.
“I’m so happy, I don’t even know how to really put it into words,” Channing told Jimmy. “She’s so special.”
When Jimmy quipped about how cool Zoë actually is, Channing said, “She’s actually really annoyingly cool. It’s a problem.”

In an interview withE! Newsat theFly Me to the Moonpremiere, Channing said filmingBlink Twiceactually helped them become closer. “Our relationship was sort of born inside of the creative process of it in a way,” he said.
“It didn’t feel any different. That was what brought us together and made us really feel like we’re very connected on what we love about life, what we love about just things in general about being alive.”
