The third season of the Netflix hit period romance show sees Nicola’s Penelope Featherington step into the leading lady role. But, because some people are absolute freaks and have apparently never been outside, some of the discourse has centered around her body. And not in a nice way!

In aclipfrom last night’s premiere event, Nicola was asked about being “very brave for this role.” Nicola replied, “You know, it is hard, because I think women with my body type — women with perfect breasts — we don’t get to see ourselves on screen enough.”

“I’m very proud as a member of the perfect breasts community,” she continued, deadpan to the audience’s laughter. “I hope you enjoy seeing them.”
