The Rizzler would actually be a cool supervillain name .

I’m not ready to admit that we (Gen Z) need apologise to our ancestors (Millennials) butmaybeit’s time to consider it. Why? Because the Gen Alpha takeover is happening. Let’s talk about the new game titled: Rizz Tag.

Aussie teacher and TikToker Kaia Kingsley first brought Rizz Tag to my attention. In a recent TikTok, Kaia explained what “Rizz Tag” is.

Rizz Tag . I FEEL SO OLD 💀 # fyp#foryou#teachersoftiktok#teacher#school#funny#rizz#tag#mewing#funny#australia#education#duty

“[Gen Alpha] are playing the new and improved Freeze Tag or Tag,” she began, and I was immediately intrigued. Here’s how some of it works:

Instead of getting tagged by the chaser, you get “Rizzed Up”.

The person chasing others to tag them is called “The Rizzler”.

If you find yourself “Rizzed Up” by “The Rizzler”, you need to mew…“until someone else rizzes [The Rizzler] up”.

Let me try my hand at this “ mew ” stuff.pic.twitter.com/atenhiA9Ok

Are you understanding this so far?

It’s OK if you don’t, because Kaia didn’t, either. But let’s continue. There are also special rules that allow the “Rizzed Up” kids to break free.

Kids will say “Skibidi Ohio” or “You’re a big back!” to give themselves immunity to being “Rizzed Up”. What does this mean? Who can say, really?

And there you have it! A loose guide to playing “Rizz Tag”. What will Gen Alpha come up with next?

And yeah…sorry millennials…
