8.SomeHouse of the Dragonactors needed to learna constructed languagefor the series, which is a crossover between Latin and Arabic.

9.Matt Smith reported that it takesone and a half hoursto transform into Daemon Targaryen.

10.The cast reported that they’d often have to spend all day on set ridingnoisy mechnical contraptions(to simulate the dragons). While they were riding “the buck”, there would be leaf blowers and rain machines running to imitate outside conditions.

11.The coveted Iron Throne looks very different inHouse of the Dragonto what fans know fromGame of Thrones.Its design is grander and more chaotic, with swords scattered upright around the Throne.

13.Milly Alcock (who plays Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen)was only 10 years oldwhenGames of Thronespremiered. She’d never watched the show until she got the part inHouse of the Dragon.
